(February 14, 2017, Shanghai) Recently, the Hilong New Materials Business was awarded dock repair coating supply order of 11 large-scale ocean liners for 2017 from Shanghai HNA Zhi Jing Ship Management Co., Ltd., marking the deepening of collaboration between the two companies and Hilong’s further expansion into the coatings field.
The entire order contains coating supply for dock repair of three 17,6000-ton Capesize bulk carriers, four 85,000-ton Panamax bulk carriers, one 3,500-container container ship, and three 10,000-ton bulk carriers. Coating required for the first ship docking repairs is expected to be supplied in mid-February, and dock repair for all 11 ships is expected to be completed in November 2017.
Hilong New Materials Business and Shanghai HNA Zhi Jing Ship Management Co., Ltd. have a good basis for cooperation, having supplied coating for dock repair of seven ocean liners in 2016.
